Basic Requirements
Education
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in the U.S.A.
5 years of experience
in fundraising for nonprofit organizations.
Passion
A genuine desire to assist in bear conservation efforts.
Responsibilities
The board ensures that the organization is fiscally responsible, accountable and sustainable.
Providing financial and legal oversight to the organization they serve.
Supporting the mission.
Setting compensation guidelines.
In addition to policy and governance, board members will leverage their network and contacts for the furthering of the organization's mission and to raise funds for the operating budget of the organization.
Provide oversight and approval of Bear Grounds Coffee Co. directors/committee chair people.
Attend and lead and actively participate in committee meetings /calls or lead specific projects.
Term: 3 years
Time Commitment: Minimal.
Pay: This is a volunteer position.
